With exclusive camping near launch, an awesome poured concrete HG ramp and a 'developed natural' PG launch, 4,000 feet AGL, and outstanding XC opportunities in every direction, Mingus Mountain is one of the Crown Jewels in the foot launching world. For $40 ($44 if you use paypal) you get you a 3 day fly-in (September 5th through 7th). We will give you a custom long sleeve event tee-shirt, and if you are not already a member we'll make you a VP Member of the AHGA. Marshall will be casting feathers again for the pilots who win the various contests.
Saturday's dinner will be a smoked salmon appetizer with your choice of chili with corn bread or green chili chicken and rice with flour tortillas, and bananas foster for desert.
We will be doing bomb drop and spot landing contests, and open distance XC & declared courses as weather permits.

The pilots at PV Glider Port have donated 10 glider ride tickets so we'll be raffling them off. Also anyone that lands at the glider port will get a free glider ride.
At this time there are fire restrictions in effect at Mingus. That means if you must smoke do it in your vehicle, and any campfire MUST be in an approved fire ring.
Camping is free to USHPA members. Your driver and guests must use the same camping spot that you use. Also, do not park your RV in a tent site.
