Labor Day Fly-Out at Mingus Mountain

With exclusive camping near launch, an awesome poured concrete HG ramp and a developing "natural" PG launch, 4,000 feet AGL, and outstanding XC opportunities in every direction, Mingus Mountain is one of the Crown Jewels in the foot launching world. For 50 bucks you get you a 3 day fly-in (August 30th through September 1st). We will give you a custom long sleeve event tee-shirt, and we'll make you a VP Member in the AHGA. Marshall will be casting feathers again for the pilots good enough to win our contests.

PLEASE NOTE: We are collecting non-perishable food items and basic toiletry items to donate to our local mission. Please, help us out. Spend a few bucks on some stuff that people down on their luck really need. Canned food, dry goods, soap, tooth paste, feminine hygiene products. Then bring that bag of stuff with you to the fly-out so we can make a big donation from the free flying community to those in need. Oh and clothing items in good shape are also needed. New or used doesn't matter - as long as it is in good shape.

Saturday's dinner is going to be awesome! Marshall is preparing a lasagna dinner with a salad and orange infused chocolate cake for desert this year.

We will be doing bomb drop and spot landing contests, and open distance XC & declared courses as weather permits.
